Pemberton Animal Wellbeing Society

PAWS was founded to provide support and relief to cats and dogs in need. Our shelter runs entirely on the generosity of our community and the dedication of our amazing volunteers. As a small, almost entirely volunteer-run organization, we have limited time and resources but always strive to do the best we can for the animals in our area.

Almost every week, a stray puppy or abandoned cat finds its way to PAWS, desperate for help. With your support—whether through volunteering, fostering, or donating—we can continue to give these animals the care they need to embark on their new journeys to loving homes.

We are a very small, volunteer-run animal shelter and, because of this, we do not have public hours. Meet and greets and adoption appointments are by appointment only. If you would like to meet an animal, please submit an adoption application form first.
