Hi! I’m Aurora,
I found my way to the shelter after my previous lifestyle proved too stressful for me, leading to some behaviors like having accidents in the house. The wonderful vets here have given me a clean bill of health and believe these were just behavioral issues due to the stress of living with children.
When I first arrived at the shelter, I was quite confused and a bit withdrawn, but it didn’t take long for the kindness of the staff here to really help me open up. Now, I’m known as a chatty, curious, and friendly lady who loves to engage with everyone around me. I’m still perfecting using my litterbox every time, but there’s already been a huge improvement, and everyone believes I’ll do even better in a stable home environment.
I absolutely adore dogs and get along with them wonderfully, but I must admit that I’m not too keen on other cats, so I’d prefer to be your only feline. I thrive on human interaction, love exploring new spaces, and nothing makes me happier than sitting on your lap and giving affectionate face rubs.
At 10 years young, I’m technically a senior, but don’t let that fool you—I still have plenty of energy and love to play and explore as much as any younger kitty might. I’m looking for a home that understands my needs as I grow older and can provide the support I might require, while also embracing all the lively, loving moments we can share.
I am in search of a quieter home that can be understanding of my stress levels, with no children or other cats, to ensure I can have a peaceful and loving environment.
