Hi! I’m Shortbread,

I came to PAWS with my siblings and another litter of pups. When we first got here, we were all a bit run down and in desperate need of some tender loving care. Thankfully, the wonderful team at PAWS nursed us back to health! It’s thought we might be shepherd x pitty mixes, but there’s likely a mix of several breeds in us. They’re not quite sure what size we’ll end up, but looking at us now, it seems we might grow to be medium-large.

I’m a sweet and sensitive little girl who loves to play and wrestle with my siblings, but I’ll admit, sometimes I find the hustle and bustle a bit much. When things get too loud or chaotic, I prefer to take myself off for a bit of peace and quiet. I’m quite curious and chatty, and I absolutely loooove snuggling with my humans. Among my siblings, I’m known for being a bit more chill and laid-back.

I’ve had all my vet check-ups and my first vaccine, and now I’m on the lookout for the perfect forever family. Adopting me means committing to a journey filled with love, playful and positive socialization experiences, training that reinforces good behavior, excellent nutrition, and the necessary veterinary care to ensure I grow up healthy and strong.

The next few weeks and months are crucial for my development, which will set the stage for me to become a well-socialized and content adult dog.
