Hi, I’m Moose!

I’m a handsome senior gentleman who’s been through a few chapters in life and am now looking for a loving family to spend my golden years with. I was brought to PAWS after my previous caretaker could no longer look after me, but some kind people made sure I got to safety and into caring hands.

At around ten years young, I’ve perfected the art of enjoying the little things — leisurely strolls through town, dips in the lake, cozy naps on soft beds, and, of course, food. Lots of food. My coat is majestic, my eyes are kind, and I’m told I have a wise old soul with plenty of love still to give.

Like many dogs my age, I come with a few minor medical quirks that will need continued monitoring from my new family, but that’s just part of the senior package! It’s all normal wear and tear for a ten-year-old guy like me, and none of it stops me from living life to the fullest. The PAWS team has been making sure I’m comfortable and well cared for, and now I’m ready to find a calm, stable home of my own.

I get along beautifully with other dogs and am also polite and calm around cats. I’d make the perfect constant companion for someone who enjoys a peaceful, steady life filled with affection and gentle adventure. My ideal home would have people around most of the time, as I’m not fond of being left alone for long stretches. What can I say? I just really love being part of the action and by your side.
