Hi, I’m Bindi!

I may look like a little dingo, but I’m actually just a slightly nervous puppy trying to make sense of the world. I arrived at PAWS with my sister Kira, and while we were deeply loved, we weren’t exposed to much of the outside world.

Since arriving at the shelter, we’ve been thrown into a crash course in domestic life, and honestly, I’m crushing it. I’m the braver and more boisterous of the two of us. I like to charge into life at 100 miles an hour, leap directly into your lap like I weigh nothing, and sniff every single blade of grass on a walk. I’m playful, chaotic, and full of beans, but I’m also working really hard on being brave. The world is still a little scary, but I’m curious and eager to learn.

I’m looking for a foster-to-adopt home that can offer me patience, structure, and time. I will need someone who understands that I’ve never properly lived in a house before this, and that every appliance, noise, and human encounter is still new to me. I’m not aggressive or shut down – I’m just trying to figure it all out!

A calm, quiet household with no kids under 15 would be ideal. I might be okay with another dog if introduced properly and given time to adjust – we haven’t been around many other than our litter, so I’d need a slow and respectful introduction.

Please remember that adopting a young dog like me is a 15+ year commitment. I will need consistent veterinary care, training using only positive reinforcement methods, high-quality nutrition, and a whole lot of love to grow into the best dog I can be. If you’re the kind of person who can laugh when I faceplant off the couch, cheer me on when I finally conquer the stairs, and offer a safe place to land when it all feels a bit much, please send in an application!
