Hi, I’m Blackberry!

I arrived at PAWS through no fault of my own, and when I first arrived I was a shy, quiet little girl who wasn’t quite sure what to make of such a big change. With time, patience, and lots of gentle kindness from the PAWS team, I’ve really come out of my shell and have turned into the sweetest, most delightful little companion.

I’m a soft-hearted, gentle girl who loves calm company, cozy spots, and slow, loving interactions. Once I feel safe, I lean into pets, purr softly, and enjoy simply being near the people I trust. I may not be the boldest cat in the room, but I’m deeply affectionate and incredibly loyal once I bond with you.

I came from a multi-cat household, and the PAWS team thinks I would likely do well with another friendly cat again, as long as introductions are done properly. I’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only if you’re looking for a single little sweetheart to spoil.

Like all cats, I am a 15+ year commitment. I’ll need regular vet care, good nutrition, enrichment, and to be kept safely indoors for my entire life. In return, I’ll offer quiet love, gentle companionship, and a soft presence that makes any home feel warmer.
