Hi, I’m Long John! I was born in a PAWS foster home with my seven siblings and am being raised there with my mom until I am old enough to live on my own. I am one of five females.
Despite my name, I am currently the smallest of the litter. My foster humans say I am very curious, and very brave when they take me outside. I will make an excellent companion for someone who will take me on lots more adventures outdoors. I know basic commands such as sit, paw, and down and I am eager to learn more. I love to play with my siblings and am very affection with the humans. I have met a lot of people in my life and I love everyone so far! I am pee pad trained but still have a few accidents in the house, but I will learn to be house broken very quickly. I also sleep through the night! My siblings and I go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 7am, and don’t wake the humans up in between.
I would love a home that has the time, patience and energy it takes to raise a young pup like myself. I would also love to go to basic puppy manners classes. I know I will do well because I am already so easy to handle! I will likely be a big girl (mom is 65 pounds) so I would be perfect for a family looking for a large dog.
