Hello world! I’m Tater Tot!

I’ve ended up back at PAWS through no fault of my own, after my first venture from a distant community far from Pemberton. My mom, brother, and I took the long, bumpy journey, but don’t worry, I behaved myself, staying as quiet as a mouse!

My short life so far has had its fair share of ups and downs, making me a bit of a timid pup in new situations. But don’t let that deter you! With a little bit of patience and someone to show me the ropes, I can learn to be brave and adjust to the big world. Once I warm up, I’m your typical playful puppy! I’m a clever cookie who’s crate trained, house-friendly, and I’ve even mastered some basic tricks like ‘sit’ and ‘paw’. I adore meeting new people, making doggy pals, and especially cuddling up to you—I could do that all day long! As for my lineage, well, mom’s a gorgeous large breed pitty mix, but dad remains a mystery.

I’ve been at the shelter for too long, and I’m more than ready for a family to introduce me to the exciting things this big world has to offer! I’ve got the hang of the harness and leash, and I’m doing great with potty training, too.

I’m on the lookout for a family ready to give me all the puppy love and care, and stay with me for the next 10+ years. Patience, commitment to positive reinforcement training, and a genuine love for dogs are a must for my future family. I can be a bit nervous, so someone willing to work with a trainer would be ideal. I’ll also need someone who’ll ensure I’m updated with vet appointments and vaccines. So, could you be my forever home?!
