Hi, I’m Teddycat!

I was a stray being fed by a kind neighbour who noticed my ears were looking pretty rough, so they asked PAWS to take me in and help me out.

I’m all cheeks and charm — a sweet, mellow boy who loves snuggles and has settled into shelter life beautifully. You can see the wear and tear from my time outdoors, especially in my ears. They’re healthy now, but they’ll always look a little banged up. Honestly, it just adds to my rugged appeal.

Because I lived most of my life on the streets, we don’t know much about my history with other cats or dogs. I seem pretty unbothered by the other cats in the kennels, so I might do well with a friendly feline friend if introduced slowly by cat savvy people. But a quieter home where I can relax and enjoy the good life would likely be the best fit for me.

I might be a bit scruffy and even a little stinky sometimes, but that’s part of my irresistible, well-loved stray-turned-soft-boy vibe. I am around 8 years old and I have the soul of old gentleman. I love short strolls to my armchair, long naps after birdwatching, and soaking up all the affection you’re willing to give.

If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly disheveled companion who looks like he’s storing secrets (and snacks) in his cheeks, I might just be the guy for you. Like all cats, I’m a 15+ year commitment and will need proper veterinary care, good nutrition, and to be kept safely indoors for the rest of my life.
