Hi! I’m Winter!

Due to no fault of my own I am back at PAWS looking for my furrever home!

Not much is known about my history, except that a concerned citizen kindly took me in from the cold and brought me to PAWS initially in January. I was a roamer and was being followed around by packs of dogs when I was in heat.

I am such a sweet, calm girl. I really don’t like being left alone much. I am also an escape artist who can scale very high fences! I just want a human to be with me all the time. I do well in a crate when I’m left alone. I also really like other doggies!

I’m great on a leash and in the car. I do have Husky in me which means I have a very high prey drive! I may never be an off leash dog, as I tend to chase things and not come back. This is something that could be worked on with a patient family and help of a R+ trainer! The volunteers at PAWS have been working with me on my recall and I am doing very well!

I really am the sweetest girl and I am so sad to be back at the shelter. Do you think you could be my furever family?!
