Hello 👋

Dinah here, I’ve been in the care of PAWS for over four months now…and while I’ve been fortunate enough to have a wonderful foster home to stay in, it’s really about time I found my forever family!

When I first arrived at  PAWS (after my previous family grew beyond my comfort levels) I had a long list of requirements, however with time and patience I’ve shown the humans that I’m a lot more adaptable and accepting of change than they first thought! I still enjoy quiet households…calm environments where I can window watch and ‘supervise’ the comings and goings. When my foster mom’s come home from work I happily greet them and accept all the loving pets. Playtime is a favourite of mine, hide and seek in a tunnel or chasing a bird-on-a-stick…I LOVE IT! After a day filled with bird watching from my window, I like to snuggle up with my humans at bedtime, that’s when I become the most affectionate and seek out my people for comfort.

Previously I wasn’t sure about living with other cats, but recently I have accepted a fellow shelter-cat and her kittens into my home and have surprised everyone, myself included! I think I’d still like to be the only cat in my new home, but am open to considering my options. I’m becoming more confident meeting new people, especially the soft spoken, gentle humans that understand my feline ways.

At four years young, with my stunning green eyes and luxurious, softer than soft coat I think I’m a bit of a catch? I’d love to share peaceful moments of reflection, observe the passing of time by the window and enjoy pamper sessions with my girl (I LOVE being brushed gently).
