Phantom

Hi, I’m Phantom.

I earned my name because when I first arrived at PAWS, I gave everyone quite the scare — I managed to escape through a tiny window no one even knew existed, and it took two whole days to catch me again! I was not impressed about leaving my outdoor life behind at first, but I’ve been learning that the indoor world isn’t so bad after all.

I’m still a bit cautious, but I’ve made huge progress since those early days. I love to watch what’s going on, and when I feel safe, my sweet and curious side starts to shine through. I may take a little time to trust new people, but once I do, you’ll see a gentle and affectionate kitten who just needed a chance.

Because I’m a little sensitive, I’d do best in a quieter home with patient humans who understand that I need to adjust at my own pace. I’d likely benefit from another confident cat in the home to help show me the ropes and remind me that the world isn’t scary.

Like all kittens, I am a 15+ year commitment. I’ll need to be kept indoors, with lifelong vet care, good nutrition, and plenty of love and enrichment to help me flourish.
